Today marks Dave's 23rd birthday and since I couldn't spend night time with him due to school, I decided to take him on a mini birthday date to Surry Hills. The Book Kitchen was our first stop! The food was delish and the place certainly did have character. Double points for playing the album "Give Up" by one of my favourite bands ever, The Postal Service. They played the album the whole time we were there which made our food experience even more awesome!

We finally got the chance to eat at Bourke Street Bakery together. Dave said he was full and didn't want anything but he ended up not being able to resist the carrot cake!

Just before heading off, we decided to take a few silly shots in the car! If theres anyone who's good at making ugly faces together, it would be Dave and I.

Saturday was an extremely hectic day for me! Woke up at around 5:30 am to go to the Flower Markets to get fresh flowers, home for a bit of a nap then headed straight to the venue to help set up, get ready and pick up the Bride to the Bridal Shower! Being a Maid of Honour isn't so hard =) Just a lot of organising, planning and following through and obviously being a support system for the Bride and also the Bridesmaids.

Can't wait to see my "big sister" get married in November. I'll have to bring a box of tissues for sure ='(
